The ability to share stories is the essence of our humanity. Whether it is around a campfire, on a printed page, or shared in a blog or ebook, when we tell our stories we make connections. My mission is to be among the storytellers, those who inspire love, tell cautionary tales, and reveal the souls of individuals and cultures. Our stories, our poetry, our songs have the power to bring understanding and peace, to be a part of that legacy is a true honor.

The twentieth century was a pivotal time in America, moving from an agrarian society to the Industrial Revolution to the rise of technology. We went to war, protested for justice, moved from the farm to the city and found our voice. Women of all ages and walks of life make up the characters in these stories. Women of a Certain Age is a short story collection that paints a portrait of various women throughout the century.

Great rainy day if I’d rummaged through my Great Grandmother’s attic and stumbled onto a trunk filled with secrets.
